Oversized shipments are often challenging not only because of their size, but also because they need to be delivered to places where a "normal" vehicle would not go.

In many cases, permits are issued for specific times - for example, at night when traffic is lighter. In such cases, bridge closures, overhead power line shutdowns or police patrols are also strictly timed.
